Does it fit both W58 and R154 transmissions?
Yes. The MK3 Supra short shifter is designed to suit the R154 and direct-mount W-series transmissions, including W50, W55, W57 and W58.
Does it come with new shifter bushes?
Yes. The shifter comes with all new shifter bushes. There is no need to purchase shifter bushes separately.
Do I need the W58 solid shifter to transmission bush?
This additional bush is inside the transmission where the bottom of the shifter locates into the selector rod and isn’t included with the short shifter. It is highly recommended for W58 transmissions. It’s not required for the R154, which uses a solid bush from the factory.
Can I reuse my factory MK3 Supra gear knob?
Yes. The MK3 Supra short shifter uses the factory Toyota M12 x 1.25mm thread, so the original gear knob screws straight on.
